Hey — I'm Thad.
I've been shooting for years, and senior portraits are far and away my favorite thing to do. It's a weirdly big moment: the last real photos of you before everything changes. That deserves better than a folding chair in a rented studio.
My whole approach is to make the hour feel less like a photo shoot and more like hanging out with a friend who happens to be holding a camera. I'll direct you — you don't need to know what to do with your hands — but I'm mostly waiting for the in-between moments. Those are always the keepers.

When should I book?
Summer before senior year is ideal — late June through September fills up first. But honestly, any season works, and spring sessions get you flowers and green everywhere. If you need photos for a yearbook deadline, book at least six weeks ahead.
What should I wear?
Bring more than you think you need. Once you book, I'll send a full guide with color palettes that photograph well, what to avoid (tiny patterns, big logos), and a checklist. Rule of thumb: one outfit that's really you, one that's dressed up, one that's comfortable.
What if it rains?
We reschedule, free, no drama. I'll usually reach out the day before if the forecast looks bad. Overcast, though? That's the best light there is — we're still shooting.
How do I get my photos?
A private online gallery you can download from at full resolution, plus print rights so you can order prints anywhere you like. Sneak peek in 48 hours, full gallery within two weeks.
Can my friend / dog / car be in the photos?
Yes, yes, and absolutely yes. Cars and dogs are free. Bring the letterman jacket, the instrument, the jersey, the whole thing — the props are what make the photos yours.
How do I lock in a date?
A $50 deposit holds your spot and comes off the final total. The rest is due the day of the session.
